| My germs all up in there |

Since my mom is away, the house is pretty filthy. I decided to not contribute to this filth by using less dishes. So as I was eating ice cream, out of the box with a fork, my brother came into the kitchen and got pretty angry. I told him that I didn't want to wash a bowl and a spoon. I was using the fork I used for dinner. (I had already washed my dinner bowl. I didn't want to do it again) Then he said I was lazy. HA! Coming from him. That is laugh. He never cleans up after himself anyway. What a dick. Then he said that my germs are in there now. And he doesn't wash his hands after peeing. Ian Wedge. The biggest hypocrite I've ever met.
This morning, I woke up to my brother being an ungrateful little bitch again. My dad wants to get a home gym for himself and Ian. Everything my dad shows him, he says is garbage and crappy and useless. I'm sure my dad doesn't want to go over a certain price point here. If Ian wants top of the line stuff, then he better pay for some of it. So I decided to go to Jared's house earlier then I originally planned to get some peace and quiet. Jared's at a dodge ball tourney all day. So I put in some laundry, I might wash some dishes and play some games. Yeah. I guess the water is running now.
I probably should have come over last night, but Jared had plans to go out. But he didn't go because Edmonton Trail was closed. I really could be at home sewing something. If only I lived here where I could sew in peace. I get less stuff done running back and forth between houses. |

I was doing so well these last few months. I wasn't buying much. But as soon as I had to buy Christmas presents, it's like the flood gates have opened. I figure that if I'm buying things for others, I might as well treat myself as well. The sales are pretty wicked right now anyway. At least I haven't been buying expensive things. All I got for myself so far are slippers, some hair clips and a watch and belt for my Chloe costume. Then some things that I really did require like mascara and hair dye. Oh, and I let myself have a few Bath and Body Works things from that massive sale.
I'm really looking forward to going to the mall with Skor this week. I still don't know what to get my dad. On Sunday, I walked around Market Mall like 8 times (mostly because I don't know how to navigate it) and I still found nothing for him. I only spent $27 at Old Navy that whole trip.
Oh yeah, Old Navy story. I had bought slippers for myself there on Saturday at Chinook. They were on sale for $6. Then I figured later that I should get some for my mom to go with the mass amount of lotion and body butter I bought her. So I went to Market Mall to try out another mall. Found the slippers. Also, in the kids section, got myself an Iron Man t-shirt. It was clearance and all the clearance stuff was 1/2 off. Then I decided I like their Party Cardi's. On sale for $25. They are simple, yet really cute. So I tried on a few. Picked the soft hot pink one. Walked by the girl's rack. They were on sale for $18. Plus the pink was bolder, and they have a cable knit. The buttons are bigger and there are less of them (these buttons are sort of hard to do up). So I bought a kid's sweater instead. bahahaha. Stick it to the man. |

Christmas shopping did happen! Hurray! I got Jared some stuff at Comic kazi. And for my mom, the sale at Bath and Body Works is buy 3 get 3 free, full sized signature collection stuff. So I think I'll keep 2 of the things and give her 4. Then, for my brother, a really cool hoodie at Old Navy. It's all lined with fuzzy stuff, good for his snowboarding. Yeah. Comic kazi didn't have any South Park stuff. T.T Now I have no idea what to get my dad.
But before the good shopping, awful things happened. Emergency water shut down on Jared's street. I had to go to Kat's place for a shower before we went shopping. The water still isn't on. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about brushing my teeth or taking a dump. There is an emergency trailer/tank of water at the top of the stairs outside, but it's cold and dark out. Ooh and there is bottled water in the fridge... I think. Ahhhh. That still wouldn't solve my toilet issues. It's awful how we take these things for granted. I read enough Dune! I should know to never take water for granted! |

This weekend doesn't look like it's going to be much fun. Since Jared's aunt passed, his parents have been really busy, so Jared doesn't get a day off this weekend. I want to go Christmas shopping tomorrow, and I'd like to go with someone. No one has agreed to yet. And I have to go home on Sunday because my mom is going to Toronto soon. So I have to help clean or something. UGH! Lame.
When I got to Jared's he was already asleep. He's just so exhausted from working so much. I wanted to take him out for dinner. I was so hungry! But there was left over Chinese food in the fridge. I played some FFVIII. And now I'm here.
I've got to figure out what I'm going to buy tomorrow! I'm going to Comic kazi first. Visit Peter. He buys costume things at my work. So cute. I want to get something South Park for my brother. Perhaps they'll have those Marvel Legend Hulk figures. Jared really needs the arms to Fing Fang Foom. Even his mom gives him shit about him! Or I can get him something beautiful that is either Spiderman, Ironman or the Hulk. That is exactly what I'm going to ask for. I still have those gift certificates that I won at the comic and toy show last month. ^^ Then off to Chinook. I will buy my mom... something. Maybe a scarf. I think there is a Bath and Body Works. Body butter there is quite nice. But I'm not sure what to get my dad. Something for his Firebird...? Perhaps Jared can help me with that. |
